The Electric Blue Flame is inspired by images taken in the Ijen Volcano of East Java. There is a body of water in the crater called the Lake of Fire where sulfur burns continuously on the surrounding shore. When sulfur burns it produces an electric blue flame best seen at night where it puts on a haunting display. Heavier than air sulfurous gasses flow through depressions in flaming rivers of blue fire. Egypt and Israel lie within the Great Rift where volcanic activity is common. 4" W x 10.75" H
