USA Made cathedral window colors blown into an art glass bowl, award, gift or desk item. By double layering transparent and opaque colors over a brilliant white core we created a sculptural tribute to the great cathedral windows of Europe. Window glass has been around since the 1st century AD but it was difficult to produce and therefore rare. These flat sheets of colored glass were carefully ground to shape and joined using lead strips in a technique called glazing. 10" W x 5" H
