The first gather of molten glass is fumed with 24kt gold. A second gather of clear cases the gold and a proprietary treatment of cobalt is applied in a swirling matrix. The finished design is cased in crystal clear glass and a window is cut and ground to a high polish for viewing the interior elements. As a teenager I was asked if I wanted to go flying with a friend. I did, and have been a pilot ever since. 3" W x 3" H
