This sculpture combines cobalt and silver hot shop fuming with the precision of cold shop finishing techniques. A gather of molten glass is pulled from the crucible and fumed with a proprietary technique that produces a flawless blue veil. The process is repeated as many times as needed to produce a flame of the desired proportions. The blue veils are cased in a final gather of crystal clear glass which then receives a silver mirror finish before annealing for 48 hours. 4.5" W x 9" H
